- Pray
- Gather your church’s leadership and key volunteers together and pursue the heart of God in prayer with them. Ask God to reveal various areas of need and brokenness in the communities around your church and areas of influence.
- Join our monthly prayer meetings, which are open to all pastors and ministry leaders. We normally gather on the 4th Monday of the month from 11-12 noon. In 2018 our remaining prayer meetings are October 22 at Gleason Park in Indian Harbour Beach and December 3 at Calvary Chapel Melbourne. On going details for these gatherings are communicated through the Love Brevard email group and facebook page.
- The location changes monthly and group members volunteer to host. The pastor or leader hosting brings a devotion/word from the Lord (5 minutes) and leads the group right into prayer.
- Prayer points are provided as a guide for the prayer time which goes until 11:45.
- The facilitator, Kristy Stuart from Love INC, closes the prayer time and we share what we have heard as a group from the Lord during this time and shares any updates relevant to Love Brevard, 15 minutes. This becomes the basis for our next leadership meeting.
- Any upcoming ministry/church functions are not to be shared at this prayer time but can be sent to Bob Llewellyn, [email protected], SBMA South Brevard Ministerial Association or Denyse Olson at Love INC, [email protected] to share with others.
- Participate
- Become a LoveBrevard Participating Church or Organization by (1) participating regularly in the monthly prayer meetings, and (2) mobilizing your congregation to engage in service projects in February/March, either through grass-roots projects that your church initiates and organizes, and/or by joining in with any of our flagship service projects.
